Ever since I was a
child, fall has always been my favorite time of year. I am not sure if it was
because of the weather changing for the cooler, Halloween and trick or
treating or just heading back to school.....seeing the leaves change into their
fall costumes always made my heart beat a little faster. It was even the time
of year I chose to get married. Granted I have a huge dislike for the month of
September, but once I am past that I am better.
So here we are in
July, and the back-to-school supplies hit the stores Sunday and we are talking
PUMPKINS. Pumpkin this and pumpkin that. And I am not complaining. The picture
shown above I took at one of our local farms at harvest time. There were bins
filled with all sizes of pumpkins and a pumpkin patch set up for the kids to
come and choose a pumpkin for themselves. Afterwards, you could take a bumpy
hayride through the farm fields while sipping on apple cider. And you can finish off the day by checking out the farm animals that roam around. It's been
raining here for a week, every day off and on.... some days harder than
others.... each making it more humid as each day passes. It's great to think
about cooler weather on days like this.
