Bath and Body Works upcoming release of the " Summer Chill " line is now showing up for purchase online.

It's scheduled for release July 8th in stores.

Bath & Body Works | Forever Midnight Sneak Peek

Forever Midnight


I remember this time last year being told from my favorite Bath and Body Works stores manager that she had a gift for me.  She had just returned from her B&BW Business convention trip in Colorado and had shown me some of the fantastic things that were to come and one of them was this new scent...Forever Red.

She gave me this little  bottle in this little shiny black box with a big red ribbon bow ( I still have it all) tucked inside of a red bag with a hang tag that read You Rock.

And that fragrance was what rocked.  I was asked to try it....and blog about it.  And I did as I was the first person to mention it publicly blog-wise.

I found the site on the Bath and Body Works page that was a preview to this new fragrance and shared that link as well.

Here we are a year later and now the new Forever Midnight sneak peek is up and already being shared blog wide.

I am hoping that July 1st, there will be another release from store managers to try this scent....

Bath & Body Works | Fall Candle Release

Bath and Body Works workers in the White Barn store...so kind...I just had to put that out there.  No matter how busy they may be, they take the time to answer all of your questions.

I was just speaking to a sales associate there as to what date the pumpkin candles are coming out so I can get my list made up.  You know you want to try every one of those yummy named candles even if they may not be scents your accustomed to using.

I was told two weeks ago from someone there that the fall test scents will be in store the second week of July.

She said that the Pumpkin line is scheduled to release July 29th and the other fall tests should be available at the same time.  She said she is scheduled to work then, so that is what she knows to be the true date.

I questioned her if she meant June 29th, because that's when my SA's mentioned it was as they showed me that little blurb in their floor sales catalog about pumpkin candles.... but she said no it was July 29th.

I mentioned I read it was going to be July 8th and she asked me was I referring to a certain person 

(Cia) that she had just spoken with and when I confirmed it, she said she was mistaken when she said that to her.

And that's how it happens that the information gets mixed up.

Short of working at the actual place and seeing it come in and go on the floor...those of us who report what we are told are at the mercy of ever-changing information.

My advice is to keep calling and checking back weekly with the stores you plan on making your test candle purchases at.  Things get sent out early so you never know when fall will decide to sneak out pre- September.

future deals of the day??

So as the weeks of the Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Sale winds down and our anticipation of the upcoming fall releases heats up, we are still seeing a few deals of the day thrown at us to get us back in the store.  The stores I was at this weekend were empty....no customers.  But that comes from no new price reductions.

Last weeks two sales....the country apple $2.00 and the $1.00 travel sizes were a total bust for those of us who did get the email yet found the stores in our area were not participating.  Customer service told me to avoid disappointment I should call all of the stores in my area before going to see if they are part of the sales offered.

I am starting to think the best way to "avoid disappointment" is to delete the emails.  ;)

I have been watching what the future deals are going to be, of course not sure what is going to happen when....and what sometimes happens if the info is put out there....the sale may change. I thought I posted the deals on Saturday night but I am not finding it here.  Maybe I did it on the other page...I am not sure...I have a lot going on at the moment.

So this is just the list of what were planned to be possible deals.

If you notice todays deal is the body cream for $4.00 but the picture (taken just now)  also shows the fine fragrance mist as today only.  I did check and it's not today....so maybe tomorrow?

I am not going to be rushing to the stores to load up on anything now. I am pretty well stocked up for sure and I am a bit disenchanted with the way customer service has been lately.  There was a time when you could call and ask about a scent....and what it smelled like and what that person thought of it.  Now you get a standard...I never heard of it... I don't know about it.....we don't have that information.... blah blah...fib, fib.

Hopefully, something is going to change...and they start to put the service back in customer service....I miss that.
