This past weekend on my visit to the mall to pick up my B&BW order I went next door to check out what may be new at Victorias Secret.
The sales associate mentioned to me that there was a new line of Fantasies coming this Monday and said from what se saw and smelled so far they smelled nice.
She didn't need to try to convince me....I am a die-hard VS fan for a very long time with a black card to prove it.
And when your collection of undergarments is well over the 350 mark... you kind of like that product. But it's not really all my fault.... they send me coupons every month for a new panty and money off of a bra...the least I can do is oblige them. :)
When I told the associate I won't be able to make it to the mall on Monday, she asked what was I interested in and went into the back for me.
I ended up getting two each of the three new scents in the buffing body wash. Each are regularly priced at $10.00 and on sale for 5/$30.00 ($6.00 each)
I noticed what happens with a lot of spray mists, the scent is strong for a few moments and then gone and I really didn't want to invest into a ritual of products I wasn't sure I was going to even like. Scrubs and body butters are great for those lighter scenting products and lighter for the summertime is usually best.
It has been incredibly hot here the past few days and with the humidity it has been unbearable so these shower scrubs have been essential.
The scents are:
- Sunny Brights Sun Blissed sunkissed tamarind & marigold
- Sunny Brights Sky Bright crisp apple & vibrant poppy
- Sunny Brights Love Rush wild currant & bright lily
The first one I tried was the tamarind and marigold. Now anyone who has ever grown a flower knows the smell of a marigold....strong...and yucky. And if a tamarind is a leguminous tree I am not sure what it smells like. I found this to be a clean scent, maybe one my husband would use if in the shower. It's not manly scented nor is it feminine floral. It just smells like a clean scent, and refreshing. They say scrub but that's not to infer a pumice as I didn't feel that. I felt clean and soft afterwards with barely a perfumed smell.
The next one I tried was the crisp apple and vibrant poppy. I grow poppies and I really couldn't say with certainty what a poppy smells like and be honest. The apple scent is there, but its subtle...not an overpowering fall like scent... these brights are mellowed and pleasant. It too left my skin soft and lightly scented.
And the last one I tried was the wild currant and bright lily. I laughed in the store when the SA brought it out to me and was opening each one for us both to smell and she read the label wrong and said this is wild carrots and bright lily. I thought...carrots? Really. Now this one for me reminds me of B&BW washes and is definitely the most floral of all three. Again, the lily scent is subtle...and not overpowering in the body wash.
These are definite loves for me for the summer. I love the softness of the different scents. When it is hot out and humid I don't want perfume. I was to wash clean....and maybe notice I smell pretty afterwards.
